Vice President of Construction

Sand Companies, Inc., a rapidly growing company in real estate development, construction (design/build), and property management, is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of VP of Construction.

Primary responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of the Construction group including bidding and negotiation of general and construction management contracts, marketing and new client development, project management and supervision, project buyout, scheduling and change orders.  Indicators of success will be the successful completion of all construction projects on or before the scheduled completion dates, meeting or exceeding profit margin goals, timely buyout and timely closeout of projects, a high quality finished product and maintaining excellent relationships.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to predict project budgets in the pre-design stage, identify and implement policies and procedures, mentor the Construction staff in the development of their own skills, and respond to issues in a timely manner with a positive outcome. Must demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills.  Experience with MS Office required and Primavera helpful.
