As Vice President of Construction Operations, Gene trains and mentors Project Superintendents and field personnel.  He also maintains and promotes excellent communications between the field and office.  Gene ensures that Sand Companies, Inc.'s quality standards are met on all job sites.  He is a member of the Board of Directors and SCI Shareholder.

Gene has worked in the construction field for 36 years.  Before joining Sand Companies, Inc. in 1993, Gene was a project superintendent and carpenter at Brutger Companies and a project superintendent with Torborg Builders.

Gene has lived in the Sauk Centre area for 30-plus years.  His family includes wife, Debbie, daughter, Gina, and son-in-law Peter.
